Nova Series Smartwatch – Supports Bluetooth calls, Multi-Sport Mode
If the promotional images and videos is the real deal, I guess the Nova series smartwatch might be one of the best looking Apple look-alike smartwatch in the market. Looking at the design, it looks pretty similar to the popular wearable. The smartwatch has an aluminum alloy body that is lightweight and with that curved edges, glossy/brushed finish. On the right side of the body is a big crown button and a pill shape below it and in between is a microphone, on the left side is a speaker.
In its description, it says that the body is thin and durable made from high-quality metal. It has interchangeable straps, but it comes with a sporty silicon strap. I don’t know if what I think is correct or not. But seems like the Nova series smartwatch is an upgrade. Maybe the popular T500 or W26 smartwatch, with just a few minor tweaks we think.
Either way, the wearable has that premium look, and available in 2 sizes a larger 44 mm and a much smaller 40 mm. The body is available in black steel, silver steel and pink steel color option. For the straps, it comes in black silicon and white silicon. If you want a premium option, you can grab the strap offering by Nova Couture, a Milanese stainless steel band with a case available in rose gold color and other striking colors.
The smartwatch has a widescreen display, it has a 1.54″ inch with full touch screen operation. It is full-color screen HD retina screen with crisp, sharp display. The screen display is protected by a 2.5D tempered screen glass, overall screen impression, the screen display has a slim bezel, bright screen. To give the smartwatch screen for more appeal, the Nova Series smartwatch has multiple watch faces ranging from digital watch faces, analog, to watch faces with additional stats information.
Sensors included in the device are g-sensor, heart rate monitoring, ECG and a built-in GPS for its sports function.
The smartwatch is packed with several features, from health and fitness to messaging. With the health features, the Nova Series smartwatch has a built-in optical heart rate monitor, monitoring your HR 24/7. It also has an electrocardiogram, with its PPG+ECG sensor. The wearable is also loaded with blood pressure monitoring as well as blood oxygen monitoring. It also has sleep monitoring, sedentary reminder.
The wearable has sports monitoring, it has sports functions such as running, situps, skipping, cycling, climbing and badminton. With its motion sensor, the smartwatch has automatic step counter also with calories and distance counter.
Messaging and Notifications
With its speaker and microphone, the smartwatch has a Bluetooth call, you can answer calls, or dial calls right on the smartwatch. For SMS messaging, you can read the SMS messaging right on the smartwatch. There is also support for social messaging apps, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and more. Other functions included in the device are sedentary reminder, find my device, remote capture, Bluetooth music, and more.
Initial Review on the Features of Nova Smartwatch
So far, when it comes to looks, the smartwatch has a sleek design. Obviously, it is an Apple Watch clone, but it is much better compared to other look alike. This wearable has a trendy look and a lot of options, especially on the straps.
It is also loaded with features especially for health and sports functions. For its accuracy, we don’t have the device in our arsenal, but just like other wearables in its category, it’s a hit and miss for its sensors. Anyways, I guess there is no issue with its notifications, we expect that it will have stable Bluetooth connectivity especially for the Bluetooth calls.
