DT NO.1 DT99 Smartwatch – Classic Look, Smart Features
No.1 DT99, another smartwatch from No.1 with a good traditional design. A wearable with a classic look, looking sporty yet classy, a traditional look wearable with a smart feature in the inside. Adopting a double circular crown dial design, a look that you often see in a traditional wristwatch, by popular wristwatch makers.
The beautiful crafted crown sits on a steel body with two physical buttons on the side. With the combination of stainless steel strap, the wearable looks more elegant, if you take a look at it you will mistaken it as a traditional watch with a mix of modern features. There is also an option for silicon strap and leather but I prefer the stainless steel strap, it gives the wearable an elegant look.
Regarding its display, it is a good thing that recent smartwatches by DT No.1 has a full circular screen including the DT99. It has a high definition full circle 1.2” inch TFT LCD display screen with 240 x 240 pixel resolution. I am a fan of full circular as they don’t hamper the beauty of watch faces or having a flat tire look. Although it has two physical buttons for operation, the No.1 DT99 smartwatch supports touch screen operation.
For the features, with its NRF52832 processor, dynamic optical heart rate monitor and acceleration sensor, the smartwatch is packed with different features. Aside from 24 hour heart rate monitoring it has other health functions. It also has an ECG detection, blood pressure monitor and blood oxygen monitor to provide you with your health status.
With regards to its accuracy, still it remains to be seen, as most of the wearables in the market with these features usually don’t have accurate results. Additional functions included are call and message notifications with support for social app notifications. Multi-sport mode, it has running, walking, cycling, mountaineering, basketball, pingpong, badminton and more. It also has sleep monitoring, alarm, sedentary alert and more.

The DT No.1 DT99 smartwatch has 165 mAh lithium polymer battery providing the wearable with 5 days of normal usage according to its specs. It is a bit short compared to other wearables but still good nonetheless. I think it will last more than its stated battery life when other functions such as HR and blood pressure is not use frequently. If the smartwatch is in idle mode it last up to 20 days which I think is very good.
