This luxury smartwatch has a beautiful premium look, DLC, stainless steel body. The metallic body with 3 physical buttons on the side. Looks durable, looks luxurious, it’s a bit heavy due to its size. Montblanc brings that fine watch making tradition in its wristwatches to its wearable technology.
The smartwatch is available in premium leather calf skin with folding clasp lock, it is also available in Milanese steel strap and silicon strap option. The overall body is waterproof, it has a waterproof rating of IPX8, the previous Summit 2 is waterproof up to 50 meters.
Display – Premium Color Screen/Sapphire Crystal Glass
With the premium body, Montblanc paired it with a full color screen. It has a 1.28” inch AMOLED display. Sharp color display with good display screen. A 390 x 390 pixel resolution, on top of the 1.28” inch is a premium curved sapphire dome crystal display. A high end tempered glass for that is usually reserved for wristwatches. Making it scratch proof, chip proof with crystal clear transparency.
Hardware and Features
Just like other Wear OS wearables, the Summit 2 + has a Qualcomm SnapDragon 3100 processor. An 8 GB of storage space and 1 GB of RAM. It has the same sensors with that of the Summit 2, having a heart rate monitor, altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensors.
With the Summit 2, it is packed with Bluetooth connectivity, WIFI as well as NFC and built-in GPS. The Summit 2 Plus added the eSIM functionality, now you can have an independent calls and messages right on your smartwatch. Take note the Summit 2 Plus added a microphone and speaker for this.
With its WearOS and Snapdragon Wear 3100, expect it to have the same feature and options that we see on other Wear OS smartwatch. Variety of downloadable apps, sport and fitness functions. Messaging features, weather, travel apps such as TimeShifter. And of course it is loaded with apps exclusive to Montblanc Summit 2 + smartwatch.
There is also an improvement on its battery, packing up 440 mAh. This is to add some extra juice due to the LTE feature that has been added to this luxurious smartwatch.
