GX Smartwatch – Review of Features, Worth Buying?
Check this new smartwatch with a sporty/outdoor type wearable, the GX smartwatch. The smartwatch has a circular design, it looks premium with its Zinc alloy body available in black and silver color. Having two physical button, a push button, with special function, possibly a home/power button and the other one is a return button.
There are several articles posting a positive review of the smartwatch. But checking it out, I will not really rely on it very much, right now seems like it’s a bogus review. Saying, it’s the best smartwatch so far, it is affordable and one of the best in the market, etc. Some of the review articles are more of a promotion than a review of the product.
Instead of basing our initial review on the comments, and so-called personal review of the buyers. Let’s us check first its features, let’s have an initial review and decide for yourself if it’s the GX smartwatch is worth buying or not.
Sporty Trendy – That is the Design of GX Smartwatch
Let us go with the design and looks of the smartwatch. We can’t complain much about its design, if the promotional images are the real deal. The smartwatch has an elegant premium look. We like the glossy zinc alloy body, it is a simple body design but with the right curve on its edge giving the smartwatch a unique look. The body is accompanied by a leather strap available in brown and black color, it has a stainless steel buckle making it tightly secure.

We love the design of the bezel, it is black color with chrono second markings, giving the smartwatch a sporty/outdoor feel. It is slim, as well as it has a glossy finish, I think the material is more of a plastic than a metal similar to its body.
For the display screen, it is a 1.3″ inch TFT LCD with a full circular screen display with full color. It supports full touch screen operation and it is safe to say that the display is protected by a tempered glass screen at least.
Overall, the smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating, it is protected up to 1.5 meters of water, it is full splash-proof, wash proof, and dust proof.

The smartwatch is loaded with heart rate monitoring with 24/7 HR tracking. Aside from that is also has a blood pressure monitor and ECG monitor. Product images shows, that the smartwatch shows graphs right on the smartwatch, probably a preview of the stats. But if you want more details, full stats are available in the support app.
Just like other wearables with blood pressure monitor and ECG, these functions are in their early stage and it did not pass on the approval of FDA. With regards to this, the results are inconclusive and it is not advised to use it as a basis for medical diagnosis.
Additional health features included are sleep monitoring, check your sleep quality, and analyzing it. This included the sleep pattern, deep sleep, light sleep, and the number of hours. With the data provided, you can improve your sleep quality, and improve your sleeping habit.
Additional health function included is the sedentary reminder, a very simple function but very useful. It so far one of our favorite feature in any wearables. It alerts you from prolonged sitting, as well all know sitting for too long is unhealthy, this feature lets you avoid that.

It will encourage you to keep moving or at least have a basic walking or running activity every day to reach the goal that you has set.

For its Bluetooth functions, the smartwatch support Bluetooth calls, yes, you can receive and initiate call directly on the smartwatch. It has support for phone dialer, call logs. You can have clear and crisp call with its HD speaker and mic.

Initial Review on the Smartwatch
So far when it comes to features and looks, the wearable is full packed especially on the health sensors. The Bluetooth call is also very useful and its smart notifications. For its sensors, we haven’t tested yet on the accuracy but I guess the heart rate and step counter works ok.
It also has a long battery life, with 3-5 days of normal usage with its 300 mAh battery. We don’ think that it is one of the most affordable smartwatch as stated on the consumer review, but it is pretty loaded with features in its category. We are not sure if the smartwatch has multi-sports mode, but at least it has automatic activity tracking.
It is being hyped as one of the best for 2020, but believe me, its not, it has its good feature, especially on its sensors, but the company behind it doesn’t have a proven track record about it. What I am uneasy about the device is the technical support.
We can’t be sure if there is really a technical support or this product is a one hit wonder only, where the product is “buy it”, and then that’s it. We advised you to check more on the product, if the price is right and with good technical support, the wearable is good pick compared to other products in the market.
