The Redmi Watch 6 Active smartwatch is an affordable version of the popular Redmi Watch 6 smartwatch. Looking at the design, the wearable has the same rectangular body frame, curved corners, stylish design but with a flat side frame compared to the Watch 5 Active with a rounded edge. According to Redmi, this smartwatch is now 9.9 mm compared to the 5 Active that is around 11 mm.
Still, it has a single rectangular button on its side, that works as a return button, home button. The wearables frame is available on midnight black, matte silver, and sunset orange. Regarding the dimension,the smartwatch has a 44.5mm*39.4mm*9.9mm size and with a PC polymer case. Still when it comes to water protection, the smartwatch has an IP68 rating, it is fully protected from splashes of water, rain, sweat, and dust.
When it comes to upgrade, the screen display I think has the most changes. It has an LCD screen, still sharp, and quality graphics, but now it has gotten much better.The smartwatch has an AMOLED screen, a 1.85″ inch screen with 390 x 450 pixel resolution. There si also a huge improvement on PPI, and brightness, having a 322 PPI, and 1200 nits brightness. The screen protection also improved with its 2.5D curved tempered glass.

I guess the main feature of this smartwatch is the sports mode. It has at least 140+ sports functions, from popular sports such as running outdoors, cycling, training indoors, playing ball sports, and more. The wearable tracks the same metrics such as steps, calories burned, distance, as well as heart rate.
There is no built-in GPS, as this functionality is available only on the Redmi Watch 6, but if you want to track your location, you can have a connected GPS functionality.
It has an all day heart rate monitoring, check the highs and lows of your heart rate, see the graph right on the smartwatch. It is also included with a blood oxygen monitoring, and stress monitoring.
