Omron HeartGuide Smartwatch First FDA Approved Blood Pressure Monitor Device?

After several months of development on the Project Zero 2.0 smartwatch, finally Omron is releasing its first blood pressure monitor smartwatch this year. The device with codename Project Zero 2.0 is now fully functional and with the name Omron HeartGuide Smartwatch.

The smartwatch with a miniaturized blood pressure monitor tech inside, it might be the first smartwatch to have this feature, yes there are other offerings in the market with BPM but they are not reliable and not even FDA approve.

The Omron HeartGuide is so far the smallest blood pressure monitor by Omron, but even with the success of it, Omron will still continue to bring different variety of blood pressure monitor in the market. In the Consumer Technology Conference, Omron introduced at least 3 heart blood pressure monitor that features Bluetooth tech and now a dedicated support app, also includes the Omron HeartGuide smartwatch.

If this smartwatch by Omron successfully push through, it might revolutionize the wearable industry particularly the smartwatch as well as the health industry. Hopefully it will be successful, this technology could save countless of lives , if it’s already available in the market.
