Kospet Prime S Smartwatch – Review of Features
Here is a new version of the popular Kospet Prime smartwatch, the Kospet Prime S smartwatch. Still, it has that premium look, outdoor type smartwatch with at least several upgrades according to Kospet. To be specific, at least 5 configurations have been added to the Prime S smartwatch. The question is, with this new upgrade, is the smartwatch much better or just pure hype? Design and Build
The Kospet Prime S smartwatch, has an outdoor look with its rugged/masculine design. It has a ceramic + PC body with 16.7 mm in thickness with two physical buttons on the side. The smartwatch has a breathable silicon strap with stainless steel buckle. Sporty, outdoor look with IP67 waterproof rating.
Regarding its changes in the design, the side camera has been rearranged to the top side of the device. The camera is now at 12 o’clock instead of at 3 o’clock similar to Prime. The top side camera is 8 MP while the front side is about 5 MP.
For its display, the Kospet Prime S smartwatch has 1.6” inch full round IPS LCD screen display with 400 x 400-pixel resolution. The wearable has a full touch screen display with 326 PPI. Sharp, full-color screen display with bright colors.
Hardware
The Kospet Prime S smartwatch is powered by SC9832 Quad Core processor and nRF52832 processor. It is a dual chip smartwatch. According to Kospet, the Quad Core processor is responsible for data operation and hardware drivers, while the nRF52832, a low power chip works for Bluetooth connectivity and sport data. With this, it has a low power consumption, more table Bluetooth connectivity.
Regarding its connectivity, the wearable has a 4G Global network supporting GSM/WCDMA/LTE. It also support WIFI, GPS/Beidou/GLONASS. For its sensors, the Kospet Prime S has a g-sensor, heart rate monitor as well as blood oxygen monitoring. For the memory, the Prime S has a 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage space. When it comes to battery, the smartwatch has 1050 mAh, 1-2 days of in Android mode, 5-7 days in sports mode. On top of this hardware is the Android 9.8 with all new launcher.
