KoreTrak Watch – Smart watch + Smartband – Review of Features and Specs

This is very popular among fans, although there are other popular wearables. Still, wearable fans are interested on this all-new wearable. The fitness tracker is a simple but cool looking wearable with fitness and sport functions.

We spotted this new wearable from Kore, the KoreTrak Smart Watch or simple called KoreTrak Watch. The wearable looks more of a smartband than a smartwatch. But Kore describes it as a smartwatch + fitness tracker, describing it as a “smartwatch in style with the biometric features of a fitness wristband.”

Design, Simple and Sporty

For us we think that its more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch. Anyways, lets call it what the company want it to be called, a smart watch. The wearable do have a sporty look with its PC body in combination of a silicon strap with stainless steel buckle. It has a classic locking mechanism which we find it very secure compared to new design lock for the strap in other smartwatches.

According to the product page, the smartwatch body is available in black color while the strap has different color options. It did not state the available colors, but says you can choose the color strap upon check-out. Which we think is very odd, as you have to pay first, (Paypal or Credit Card) before picking the desired color. As of now, we think that the wearable do have only one color option (black). Even in their promotional images we only spotted one color, black.

The overall body is IP67 waterproof rated, it is splash proof, sweat proof, rain proof. https://www.koretrak.com/Koretrak says that the smartwatch can withstand up to 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes. Anyways, still we don’t advised you to wear it while swimming, as it shortens the life of the wearable.

The company did not unveiled its specifications, so we will just rely on the images to describe some basic specs of the KoreTrak smart watch. Looking at the wearable, it has a full color display with touch button key operation. When it comes to charging, the band has a removable strap that exposes the direct USB charging of the band. With it, you don’t need an extra charging cable for the band.

Our Take on the Koretrak Watch

It got all the basics for health and fitness features. If you want a simple tracking wearable, the device got it. But we think the price is too much, having $49.95 USD price tag.
