Finally we got the K2 smartwatch, one of the few and the latest smartwatch equipped with heart rate monitor, pedometer and blood pressure monitor. First impression, it is a good looking smartwatch loaded with health features. It is a good looking smartwatch with good specs and here is our take on this wearable, the K2 smartwatch.
Design and Display
K2 smartwatch, a sport fitness wearable color display with a steel alloy body and a removable strap. The K2 smartwatch has a trendy look, have been using it for over a week now, and find it very comfortable to use. The strap is silicon with stainless steel strap plus it has a quick release pin to easily attach or remove the strap just in case you wanted to change it for other design, by the way the strap is available in blue, red, green and black colors and with anti-sweat and anti-scratch feature.
Having a tempered glass screen, the 0.95” inch OLED display has a 96 x 64 pixel resolution protected by coated sapphire glass, it might not that sharp but just right enough to provide clear display. If you are expecting that this type of smartwatch supports touch navigation, sadly the wearable is more of a touch key method similar to smartband.
With IP68 water proof rating, the smartwatch is right for swimmers or those who are into outdoor sports, you can wear it whether it’s raining, a shower or swimming.

Hardware and Features
The K2 smartwatch is one of the few circular smartwatches with heart rate monitor, step counter as well as blood pressure and blood oxygen monitor. If you want to have these features but don’t want a smartband type of wearable the K2’s design might suit you.
It runs the Nordic NRF52832 processor providing fast processing yet having low power consumption. It has 512KB / 64KB or RAM/ROM just enough for smooth access of menus and features of the smartwatch.
With Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, the smartwatch has call and message notifications, sleep monitor, alarm, calendar, remote camera, anti-lost alert, social app notifications such as Facebook, Line, QQ, Wechat and WhatsApp.
The smartwatch uses the iband app which has the basic data for your fitness and health exercises. Although not that sophisticated, I’m impressed with the added options in the app, including the option for 12/24 hour time setup which is missing in some support app for smartband. Additional features in the smartband are goal setting, unit setting as well as to set automatic heart rate monitoring.
Despite its size and the color screen, the smartwatch has a good battery life. Having a lithium polymer battery the K2 smartwatch has 200mAh capacity and with an amazing 30 days of battery life on standby and 15 days on normal usage. So far, during our test, seems like the smartwatch might last that long, as it only consumes less juice in several days of using it.
It is a good looking smartwatch with sporty design, it is perfect for those who are looking a sporty smartwatch with blood pressure and heart rate monitor in one. Plus with notifications and other smartwatch features. It has an affordable price range and with good features and design just right for those smartwatch fans looking for a new wearable.
