Huawei Watch Fit – Specifications and Features Leaked
After the Huawei Talkband B6, the company might be introducing another wearable in the market. Instead of a circular smartwatch like we used to see such as Huawei Watch GT series , Huawei Honor Magic. This time Huawei goes for a rectangular design, the smartwatch with the codename Stia will be called Huawei Watch Fit Smartwatch.
Leaked by Sudhanshu, the information was leaked on his Twitter account along with few specs and images. The information revealed some few interesting details about the smartwatch.
The image show below a rectangular smartwatch with a much longer length compared to other popular rectangular smartwatches in the market. According to the specs, the smartwatch screen has a 1.64” inch display (diagonally) with 456 x 280 pixel resolution. Seems like it is protected by a 2.5D tempered glass screen.
Looking at the body of the device we can clearly see a pill shape physical button on the side. A heart rate monitor on the bottom, a slightly curved body and edges. The images also revealed a mic on the side and with it there is a possibility that it has a built-in speaker also.
The Huawei Watch Fit will be available in gold, black and silver color with glossy finish. Obviously it will have stainless steel body with a PC back cover, a proprietary strap that is interchangeable. The overall body is water resistant up to 5ATM.
It did not state if the device will run the Wear OS or it will run the same software with that of the GT and Honor Magic smartwatches. Sensors included heart rate monitoring, Accelerometer, Barometer, Ambient light sensor and GPS on board. With its sensors, the smartwatch supports automatic activity tracking, sports mode included are walking, running, swimming as well as indoor and outdoor cycling.
For the battery it will last up to 10 days in just a single charge. The smartwatch will be compatible with Android 5.0+ and iOS 9.0+ devices with Huawei Health as its support app.
