Huawei is prepping up its next wearable, and it is expected to be the most advanced health smartwatch from Huawei. Based on the report, the smartwatch might be called Huawei Watch D smartwatch.

If the reports are true, this will be the first smartwatch from Huawei that will feature a blood pressure monitoring. Although this is now new in the world of smartwatches. This feature in Watch D is certainly a medical-grade blood pressure monitoring, similar to Galaxy Watch 4, and it is expected to be accurate in providing real-time results.

The images show a rectangular design, looking like a smartwatch/smartband design. It has two physical buttons, and might have a special function side from the home button. No details yet on its specifications, but it is expected that the wearable will have at least several sports functions, as well as smart messaging. For its health, of course, a heart rate monitoring and SpO2 monitor for its sports tracking.

Its expected unveiling is said to be on December 23, 2021, in China. No details yet on the pricing and it is availability outside of China. it will be unveiled along with other Huawei devices such as smartphones. In the U.S certainly, Huawei needs to seek approval first of FDA for its medical sensor integrated into the Huawei Watch D. In China it has already  granted a National Medical Products Administration Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate.

The latest wearable in the market right now by Huawei is the Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch. It has a sporty circular design, more like a sporty outdoor wearable. Premium look packed with at least 100+ workout mode. It also features, Bluetooth calling, AI-assisted sports coach. Its display, the wearable sport a 1.48” inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 pixel resolution with full touch support.
