How to Set Events in the Xiaomi Smartband 11 Active
If you have the new Xiaomi Smartband 11 Active, and you have been using it for several wees now, pretty sure that you are surprise that the Event function is not working with other Android phones except Xiaomi with MIUI or HyperOS. Fortunately it is working with the iOS platform or iPhones.
If you have other phones, even Samsung and other top tier phones, still the “Event” function is just a menu on your smartband and without function. This issue is not exclusive on Xiaomi smartband 11 but it is also present on Redmi smartwatches such as the latest Watch 6, 6 Lite and Active.

Below is a tutorial on how to set Events on your Xiaomi Smartband 11 Active
- Open the Mi Fitness App
- Go to Profile
- Tap on App Permissions
- Then select Calendar, you need to grant permissions to be able to create your own Calendar Events, Toggle permission to on.
- After Setting the permissions, you need to Activate the Events App in the Apps section
- Go to “Device”
- Tap on Apps
- Toggle the Sync Events (7 days) to On
- Once the necessary permission is set, you can now set an Events on the built-in Calendar of your smartphone.
- After adding events on the calendar, tap Sync on the Mi Fitness to update the band with the new events.
