How to Set Calendar Events on Redmi Watch 6 Smartwatch

We have here a tutorial on how to set your own Calendar Events on the Redmi Watch 6 smartwatch, this tutorial also works with Redmi Watch 4, and Redmi Watch 5 smartwatch, the Active, and Lite series. Check out the details below.

Please take note that this feature is only available on phone that runs the MIUI and also the latest Xiaomi HyperOS, the replacement for MIUI on its smartphones. It also works on iOS platform, or iPhone. If you have an Android phone and runs the stock Android or modified Android from a mobile company, sadly, the Calendar Events will not work.

How to Set the Calendar Events on Redmi Watch 6?

  1. Before you start, enable the permission for the Calendar app. Go to Profile, then select “App Permissions”, tap on “Calendar”, granting permissions will allow adding events to your wearable devices.
  2. Select “Device”, tap on “Apps”, enable Sync Events  (7 Days)

Now that the necessary permission is enabled, you can now set your own Calendar Events.

  1. Open “Calendar”, tap on the “Day”, tap on the sign
  2. Add title, and set the Start date and the End Date. You can also add other details such as alert, attachment, location, and more.
  3. Once the Calendar Event  is set, refresh your smartwatch by tapping Sync. The Calendar Even will now appear on the Redmi Watch 6 Calendar app.

Until now, even with updates, the Calendar Events is not working with other smartphone brand, Redmi watch 4, to Redmi watch 5, and now Redmi Watch 6 smartwatch this feature is not available. No updates from Xiaomi if they will fix this in the next update.
