With the success of Versa series, seems like it’s already due for the next Versa or similar smartwatch. According to the leaked info by a popular leaker, Evan Blass. The next generation smartwatch by Fitbit will be packed with new screen tech and additional features.

Fitbit Versa 2 is Coming with Alexa Support

Possibly named Fitbit Versa 2,  the smartwatch has almost the same design with the first Versa, this is based on the leaked images.  The look is pretty much similar to its predecessor, except that it has only a single physical button on the side compared to 3 physical buttons on the previous model. The Versa 2 will have an AMOLED display which makes it  more appealing, the previous Fitbit Versa uses LCD display.

Aside from the upgraded display, the smartwatch will have a support for Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant. This makes it very enticing feature especially for those who are already into Amazon Alexa’s eco-system. The voice assistant will surely going to  be a big addition to the smartwatch if the information is true. It gives the fans another reason to purchase or upgrade their smartwatch.

No details on other features of the smartwatch, but obviously it will still have the PurePulse Heart sensor, preloaded watch face, multi-mode sports and message notifications. But I  hope  that there will be a huge improvement on the  battery life, that is one of the biggest deciding factor of wearable fans in buying a smartwatch.

There is no word yet on the release date,  but with this leaked images, it is just a matter of time and we will see the smartwatch in the market.
