BoAt Flash Smartwatch – Review of Features of this Fitness Watch
After the successful boAt Storm smartwatch last quarter of 2020, here comes another wearable from boAT. This year boAt released the boAt Flash smartwatch, the smartwatch unlike the Storm that has a rectangular design, boAt goes with the circular design.
The boAt Flash smartwatch has a classic sport look design, having a metal finish. A single physical button on the side and with a chrono type slim bezel. It looks premium and available in two colors, silver and black.
According to boAt, the wearable is slim and light having 33 grams in weight only. It is a compact smartwatch with a two-tone sporty strap with metal enclosure. Regarding its design, the wearable looks good, so far based on its promotional images. With the positive response of the consumer on the storm watch, we expect that it will be the same with boAt Flash smartwatch also.
For the screen display, the boAt Flash has a full 1.3” inch full touch LCD display. It is a full circular screen with touch screen operation. Sharp, bright screen display with loaded and trendy watch faces. Pick from analog to digital, to personalized your smartwatch.
Overall, the boAt Flash smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating. Based on its specifications, it has a maximum depth of up to 1.5 meters for a limited of 30 minutes only. Although it is splash-proof, wash proof, it is not advisable to wear it in deep water activities like snorkeling or saunas.

Health Features
The wearable is equipped with different health functions. It keeps track of your heart rate 24/7 as well as blood oxygen level(sPO2). It is also equipped with guided breathing for proper intake of oxygen after your intense workout and meditation. We are not sure whether it has blood pressure function but based on the user manual, seems like it has this feature.
Multiple Sports Mode
If you are into sports, the wearable has at least 10 sports mode. Keeping you fit and healthy, and in combination of guided breathing, it is a good partner for your cardio workout.
Call and Text Notifications
The smartwatch can receive real time notifications, with its call and text support. You can receive pop-up notifications and vibration and messages up to 5 new notifications. It also has an option to reject calls.
Sleep Monitoring
It has automatic sleep monitoring, it automatically detects when there is no movement for 30 minutes at night ime. The wearable monitors the light sleep, deep sleep and the number of sleep hours.
Bluetooth Functions
Music Control mode, control the music app on your smartwatch with this feature. Play, pause, forward to the next music on your phone with your smartphone.
Camera Control Mode
Control the camera on your phone, with the shutter function. Whether its iOS or Android, this function is fully supported.
Other Functions
Find my Phone, this anti-lost function is pretty useful. If your smartwatch is connected to your phone, you can find your device via this feature. A ringing sound and vibration will be activated on your phone and vice versa. There is also a weather forecast, sedentary reminder and hydration alerts, as well as do not disturb mode.
Overall, the boAt Flash smartwatch has the basic features and functions. It has a good list of sport and health functions, plus its design is trendy making it an attractive sport smartwatch.

The boAt flash smartwatch has a dedicated app providing more details on stats of your workout. It also features cloud-based watch faces and other functions. It is available in iOS and Android platform.
