Amazfit Ares Smartwatch – the Next Wearable?

The last wearable introduced by Huami Amazfit is the Amazfit T-Rex. It is rugged smartwatch with an MIL STD certification, a wearable that is built for outdoors.

The smartwatch is the first circular smartwatch by Amazfit that is built for outdoor activities, having a touch robust design and features a lot of outdoor functions as well as health and fitness activities.

That is why it is not surprising that Amazfit will soon introduce another wearable that is built for outdoors. This time it has a rectangular design, somewhat like an outdoor equivalent of the Amazfit GTS smartwatch. The first rectangular designed smartwatch that is dubbed by some as an Apple watch look alike.

We don’t know if it was accidentally leaked or maybe it is just a promotional strategy purposely done to excite fans. Amazfit Ares was listed in the Amazfit app even though the smartwatch is not yet available in the market.

The Amazfit Ares smartwatch has a rectangular rugged design, a durable TPU strap. Expect it to have a high outdoor protection similar to the T-Rex smartwatch. It’s a sport smartwatch that focuses on outdoors, the CEO of Huami even confirmed its impending release for 2020. According to the CEO, the smartwatch will have at least 70 sports mode.

Just like other smartwatches by Amazfit, if the Amazfit Ares will have an affordable price with a premium feature. This rectangular smartwatch will be a big hit for outdoor fans. Having an affordable lightweight wearable that is built for outdoors is a perfect partner for those who would love to do their fitness routine outside.

The Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch by the way has a 1.3″ inch AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixel resolution. Sensors includes Biotracker PPG Bio Tracking optical sensor, 3 axis acceleration sensor, geo magnetic sensor and ambient light sensor.
