Design

I think this is the future, Nubia Watch, a wearable with a wrap around display. Its truly unique having a flexible AMOLED display with full touch screen operation. It might be a bit big, but it is unique, futuristic and might be the design of the future for wearables.

The Nubia Watch has a metal build, it is a combination of aluminum alloy and 316L stainless steel body measuring 41.5 mm in width x 14. 2 mm in height. The wearable weighs around 98 grams, it has a curved body that sits comfortably on your wrist.

There is a single physical button on the side that works as a power button. For the strap, the smartwatch goes for the TPU strap with classic locking mechanism. But you can pick for a more premium option with the elegant Napa leather strap. Right now for the option, you can pick from Midnight Black or Army Green color option. Overall, the body has an IP54 water resistant rating, it is splash proof, sweat proof and dust proof as well.

Display

With all the features of the Nubia Watch, I guess this is the most notable among all. The smartwatch ha a flexible AMOLED display screen. The Nubia Watch has a beautiful 4.01″ inch display screen with 960 x 192 pixel resolution with 244 pixel density. Its a two point capacitive touch screen with amazing wrap around screen display. You can scroll navigate and read messages more clearly in full details with the wide screen display, it is protected by a Schott tempered glass.

Under the Hood

The wearable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip. It has 8 GB of storage space, 1 GB of RAM. It is packed with sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, pressure sensor, heart rate sensor, geomagnetic sensor. It also has a built-in GPS/GLONASS/BEIDOU. The wearable has a Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity compatible with Android and iOS platform. It uses the Nubia Wear App available in both platform.

Features

The smartwatch is great in showing messages and notifications, its wide screen display shows more information with the option to scroll the information with its intuitive UI. It also support phone call via Bluetooth, and have a hands free phone call. Social app support includes Facebook, WhatsApp, Line and Email.

It is also packed with heath and fitness functions, it has a high precision HR sensor, to keep track of your heart health. It is also has an activity tracking with HR, calorie, mileage and time monitoring.

The device is also packed with 4 sports mode, it has indoor running, outdoor running, outdoor walking and free workout. Some of the sports mode supports map trajectory with its built-in GPS.

Additional functions supported are Bluetooth music control, calendar, weather, find my phone, distance reminder, sleep monitoring, sedentary reminder.

Battery

It has 425 mAh battery with up to 7 days of battery life in normal usage. It uses a magnetic charging base to charge the device with charging time of about 85 minutes.
