Xiaomi SmartBand 11 Leaked – Pill Shape or Rectangular Design?
Information, and images (blueprint) of the upcoming Xiaomi Smartband 11 tells that the release of the new wearable of Xiaomi is imminent. Recent information shows(rumor) that the fitness tracker might have a new design, instead of a pill shape button, it is now somewhat similar to the likes of Galaxy Fit, and Huawei Band 11, or Xiaomi’s own Band 10 Pro.
In my own opinion, Xiaomi will not ditch the popular pill shape design of the smartband, the pill shape button of the smartband 11, makes it unique among the fitness tracker with the usual rectangular design. The band is already registered in IMDA Singapore database, but no full details are available for the band.
There is a buzz in the Chinese social media stating that the wearable will have a metal body frame, a possible aluminum alloy, we expect it also to have a ceramic option, and still with proprietary straps similar to smartband 11.
Anyways, here are some of the features that may be improved or added to the new wearable. Improve peak brightness pushing to 2500 or 3000 nits, slim black border, or possible borderless screen. More emphasis on health, and fitness with AI integration, more information or metrics for sports, and longer battery life.

For the clamor of users for GPS integration, I think it will not be available in the smartband 11, as Xiaomi reserved this feature for its Pro series. Still, a possible magnetic charging for the band, similar to its previous fitness trackers.
