Xiaomi Mi Band 6 Release Date and Leaked Images
Well, it is not a rumor anymore, it is confirmed the Mi Band 6 is coming on a much earlier date. Usually, the Mi Band’s release date is around June or July. But this time the next generation smartband by Xiaomi has an early release date.
Based on the promotional images, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will be available this March 29, 2021. We will just have to wait for two days and it is already here. Even Xiaomi tweeted its impending launch, on their Twitter account. The wearable will be announced along with other products of Xiaomi, 19:30 (GMT+8) on March 29. Other products expected that will be announced along with the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will be Mi 11 Ultra, Mi MIX phone, and Mi 11 Pro.
What will be the expected changes on the Mi Band 6 ?
Confirmed changes on the Mi Band 6 is that it will have a much wider body, as well as display screen. It is possible based on the image below that the mi Band 6 will have a much slimmer bezel, wider display as opposed to the Mi Band 5 and 4. A short video shows, the fun and colorful animated watch faces that might be one of the features of Band 6. The Mi Band 5 has this but it is not that smooth compared to the short video showed by Xiaomi.
There is also a talk of blood oxygen monitoring, 30 sports functions loaded to the band. Hopefully, it will have a built-in GPS, but so far seems like there will be no support for this. Based on the leaked image, there will be no changes on the physical look, still, it has that capsule-like body, still black in color with interchangeable straps available in several colors. It might still use a magnetic charging cable similar to the Mi Band 5 based on the leaked images.
