Xiaomi Mi Band 5 – Image Shows Different Color Straps and Design
As the unveiling date is getting closer, more and more information about the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is making its way online. This past few weeks we got several specifications, even a not so good leaked images of the rumored smartband.
What we have several days ago is a confirmed unveiling date of the next smartband by Xiaomi. June 11, 2020, it was confirmed by Xiaomi last week. And to tease us more with the new wearable, Xiaomi release a the first promotional images of the smartband, it is more of a render than the actual product.
But it is enough to show the exact look of the upcoming fitness tracker. It is an official render of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, the image shows the band in different color strap, green, red, yellow and the usual black color. The render also shows a much slimmer strap in terms of width but still has that strap-on type style similar to Mi Band 3 and 4.
Other functions that we can confirmed are multi-sport mode such as indoor rowing, yoga, skipping rope. There is also an NFC, women physiological function, blood oxygen monitoring. Based on the report the Mi Band 5 will have a larger screen. A 1.2” inch color screen compared to 0.95” inch with Mi Band 4, seems like this is true. The screen will both support touch key and touch screen operation.
On our previous article we stated that the upcoming wearable will have a plugin charger, long battery life, Alexa support. Other information that we gathered are camera remote control function. In the next few days more information will be unveiled regarding the Xiaomi Mi Band 5. Right now lets enjoy the first render image of the fitness tracker, and wait for more details on June 11.
