Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 Golf Edition – Must Have Golf Smartwatch
Samsung recently, unveiled new variant of its popular Galaxy Watch 2 smartwatch. A watch Active 2 LTE aluminium version and a sport edition aimed specifically to Golfers, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 golf edition.
The golf edition is available in 40 mm size, aiming for users with small wrist or it is safe to say for women, as the smaller version comes in pink gold and a larger version 44 mm in size.
Looking at the design, it is basically it is the same with the regular Galaxy Active 2. A steel body, with striking popular touch bezel. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf edition comes in breathable sporty strap, a silicon two tone strap, perforated strap that is skin friendly, soft lightweight TPU strap.
Regarding its features, the smartwatch has a special functions for golfers. The onboard “Smart Caddie app”, similar to Garmin Approach S62 smartwatch. It offers 40,000 courses around the world. The handy app for golfers help users with distances, gold shots, shot distance trakcing tool and other features that will help golfers on their golf play.
This smartwaatch is aimed for sport enthusiast, right now it is available in Korea only but it will be rolled out in the U.S and U.K in the next few months, Samsung did not yet put a definite date for the U.S release. The smartwatch cost $323 U.S dollars for the 44 mm version and $295 U.S dollars for the 40 mm version.

The smartwatch comes with the basic specs, comes with a 1.2” inch AMOLED display, 1.15 GHz Dual Core processor, Accelerometer,Barometer,Gyro Sensor,HR Sensor,Light Sensor, NFC, GPS. It has WIFI, Bluetooth 5.0 and on top of these hardware is a Tizen OS for wearables.
