Design and Display
The X2 has a circular display with ABS+PC material making it lightweight yet durable. The band material is silicone that is soft and flexible. In terms of look, the device is some of the few wearable that is a blend of a smartwatch and a smartband, it has a simple design, with two physical buttons on the side and with a touch button key operation. The body is only available in one color black, but you have a lot of options with its silicon band, at last 4 color two tone strap is available, red, green, blue and the typical black color.
The display is an OLED screen with 96 x 96 pixel resolution, not that sharp compared to other smartwatches by Microwear, but with its display technology it is a power saver giving the smartband more juice.
Hardware and Features
The Microwear X2 is powered by NRF51822 processor and runs the proprietary OS. Sensors includes blood oxygen and blood pressure monitor, there is also a heart rate monitor and step counter, perfect combination for fitness exercise. With Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, the smartband provides the following features and notifications such as sedentary alert, sleep monitor, remote camera and of course the call and message notifications. Several social app notifications are supported like Facebook, Instagram, QQ, Skype, Twitter and WhatsApp.

When it comes to battery usage, the Microwear X2 scores high with its 400 mAh battery the device has 180 days of standby time, this is made possible because of the low power display screen partnered with the energy saving processor NRF51822. Overall
The price is very affordable compared other smartband in its category, the device looks more of a smartwatch but under the hood and its functionality, it works as a smartband. Features and specs wise, the price is amazing, it might not have a great display tech but when it comes to features the smartband is promising.
