Last month we reported about the Honor Band series of Huawei, the Honor Band 3 and Honor Band A2, we thought it’s the last entry of Huawei for smartband this year. But I guess Huawei is not finish with its plan to dominate the smartband market this year. Huawei silently introduced two smartbands the Huawei Band 2 and the Huawei Band 2 Pro. The two smartband is the same in look and size, it has PMOLED screen with a sporty design, wide screen and pack with several sensors and available both in blue, black and red colors.
Both has a heart rate sensor with continuous heart rate monitoring, it is also has a coach feature for fitness enthusiast. Unlike the Band 2 version, the Band 2 Pro is equipped with GPS providing precise data on speed, movement and distance tracking. Both smartband has a waterproof feature able to withstand 5 ATM. Please take note that additional features such as TruSleep and Running Coach, is only available for Huawei Band 2 Pro. Aside from sport feature, the smartbands has the typical call and message notifications, social app notifications and other additional features that are common in other fitness tracker.
