How to Pair/Setup M2Wear App on Android Platform
We have here another tutorial for pairing setting up the support app for your smartwatch, in our case, it’s the M2Wear application. The application, is a support app for variety of smartwatches, with support for Android, and iOS platform. This app is developed by Shenzhen United Power Technology Co. LTD, and with provides different options, features for your wearable.
Step by Step Process on How to Setup M2Wear App with Android Smartphone
Step 1. To be able to download the app, you need to search it on Google Play Store, or you can scan the QR code of the app.
Where Can I Find the QR Code of the App?
- QR Code can be found on the User Manual of the smartwatch that come with the smartwatch
- Sometimes, it is also available on the packaging box
- Right now, it is becoming a standard for smartwatches with a QR code menu available
Step 2. Once you found the M2Wear app in Google Play Store, tap to download and install the application. The app is very light, so no worries on the speed of downloading the application on your smartphone.
Step 3. Open the M2Wear Application, before you can proceed to the main UI, you need to agree first to the Privacy Policy Agreement of the application.
Step 4. Once you agree, it will ask its permission, asking for the app to access your devices location.
Step 5. It will also ask for assessment of your Physical activities, just tap allow if you agree with it.
Step 6. The permission for the smartwatch will not just end there, it will also ask for other permissions such as Notifications for SMS, calls logs, access to contacts, make and manage phone calls, access photos, and media on the device, location permissions, and more.
Step 7. A sign-up form will appear, asking to register. There are ways to register, you can sign-up by filling up forms. Or you can register via third party login, via Google account, or email. If you don’t like to register, you can skip to direct login to the main UI dashboard.
Step 8. M2Wear will automatically create an account for you, with account code, and password as well. You need to record such as take a screenshot to record the account. Tap Ok to proceed. Please take note that you need to keep the keep a record of account, and password as there is no way to retrieve it.
Step 9. It’s now time to setup your Profile, such as Nickname, Gender, Birthday, height, weight.
Step `10. It will also ask if where you want to store the data record, you have an option to store it on the Cloud, or Local storage.
Step 11. The app will ask again for notification permission, tap to Go Set. Enable Notification Access to M2Wear.
Please take note that if you allow M2Wear for notification access, it will be able to read all your notification, including personal information such as contact names, and the content of messages you receive.

Step 12. It is now time to pair/setup you smartwatch to the M2Wear application. Tap on the Settings Icon, then select “Add Device”. It will ask again for location permission activation, tap to Go Set.
Another permission is for the activation of Bluetooth. Tap to Allow.
Step 13. It will not search for your device, allow the app to search for the smartwatch. Make sure the Bluetooth is activated, as well as the GPS.
Step 14. Once the smartwatch is found, tap to pair it with the support application M2Wear.
Technical Details of the M2Wear App
It provides functions/options for Core functions, such as SMS contents, calls. Smart devices, pair, and manage smart devices such as bands, and smartwatches. It also provide Health Data, recording and visualizing your daily activities. Workout Record, track routes, and record steps, and duration.

Basic Setup of Notifications, SMS, App and Calls
- During installation of the app, the M2Wear ask to send you notifications, allow the smartwatch, if you want to receive one on your smartwatch.
- The same with app notifications, you will also have to allow the M2Wear to access your contacts, as well as make and manage phone calls.
- If you don’t want any issues, go to Notification Access, and activate the M2Wear app. Activating this, the app will be able to read all notifications including personal information, and contacts.
- To select or choose the app for notifications, go to “My Device“, select Notification and Reminder select the app, options are different applications as well as SMS option.
Downloading Watch Faces from M2Wear App
If you want to personalized your smartwatch, you can choose different watch faces from Analog to digital watch face on the app. Just tap on the “Dial Gallery”, and select from different watch faces on the Dial Mall, there is also a section for DIY Dial. Just tap on the selected watch faces to download it to your smartwatch.
