Haylou Fun application is the main support app for Haylou smartwatches. If you want to install the application for your Haylou smartwatch especially in Android platform, here are the details on how to setup your Haylou Fun app in Android.
Steps in Installing, Pairing Haylou Fun App to your Smartwatch
Here are the step by step process on pairing the Haylou Fun application to any model of Haylou smartwatch. We enumerate the process below from downloading to installing the application to your smartphone, and pairing it with your Haylou smartwatch model
Step 1. Download and Install the Haylou Fun app on Google Play, it is also available in iOS platform. As of this writing it is just 66 MB in size, and with over 1 million plus downloads. Just search for the Haylou Fun app, or scan the QR code that comes with your user manual.
Step 2. Open the application, and it will pop-up a Privacy Policy Statement, it will also ask for notifications. Also tap to Agree and Continue with the Privacy Policy.
Permissions:
Allow Hayou Fun to Sent you Notifications? – Allow/Don’t Allow ( Allow if you want to receive SMS, or app notifications)
Step 3. You will be ask to Sign-in or Sign-up, there are several ways to have an account, you can sign-up, or use third party account to login. Third party account are WeChat, QQ, Facebook and Twitter.
Step 4. It will ask for a Permission to access the devices location. You can choose while using the app, or only this time, or don’t allow. Pick Only this Time. It will also ask you to pick your region and your mobile to complete the sign-up/
Step 5. Complete your Profile, this includes your name, the gender, date of birth, height, weight.
Step 6. You will be ask again to Agree on Privacy Policy
Step 7. After a complete sign-up process, it will load the Dashboard of the application. There are at least three main menu.
Home – this is the main page, where you can see all the details on health, daily activity and other important stats.
Sports – it is where you check for the map trajectory of your workout, the distance, and other sport metrics.
Me – as the name suggest it’s all about detailed information about your, and your device. It is also where you are going to add/pair your device with the Haylou Fun app.
Step 8. Select on “Me” profile, tap on “Add Device” and select your Haylou smartwatch from the lists. It will also ask for another permission, that is to allow your smartphone to open the Bluetooth connectivity. Turn on the Bluetooth to search for your device. It will also ask for the relative positioning of nearby devices.
Step 9. The Haylou Fun app will try locate your phone, just place your Haylou smartwatch beside the phone. A notification permission will appear on your smartwatch asking for pairing.

Step 10. Finalizing the connection and pairing, you have to configure some settings, and notification permissions. Allow the smartwatch to receive the following information
- Weather
- Incoming Call and Notifications on the watch (you have to grant permission for the watch to read your contacts.
Permissions:
- Allow Haylou Fun to Access your contacts
- Allow Haylou Fun to Send and view SMS messages
It will also ask to allow app notifications on the watch (with this you need to go to your Android smartphone settings)
Problems with Haylou Fun Application, Solutions
Issue with the Signing Up/Registration Process
There are a lot of complaints when it comes to registering an account with the Haylou fun application. Even us experienced this issue. If you are having some trouble especially if you are registering using your email account. You might want to try the solution below.
Possible Solution:
Use a third-party account to register, in my case I use my Facebook account and it went pretty well. For the Twitter third party registration, I experienced an issue with it.
Cannot Pair with Haylou Fun Application
If you are done with the installation, and signing up but having difficulties with the pairing You might want to try out the following solution.
Possible Solution:
- Remove any devices that is using your Bluetooth connectivity
- Restart your smartwatch as well as your smartphone
- Check if the smartwatch or the app is already added in the Bluetooth section, if its already added, tap on it and choose forget this device.
