Google Pixel Smartwatch Rumors Specs

With the demise of Android Wear and a lackluster Wear OS, Google might be planning to again to lure other companies to invest and create their own smartwatches powered by WearOS. This is via introducing a new smartwatch made by Google and running the WearOS, showing the new features and capabilities of a smartwatch running the new rebooted OS.

With this it is possible that Google might attract manufacturers to introduce a new wearable running the operating system and might give the O.S a second chance in the wearable industry. The rumor was tweeted by Evan Blass, yesterday:

“Besides the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and second-gen Pixel Buds, a reliable source tells me — with high confidence — that Google’s fall hardware event will also introduce a Pixel-branded watch. Have a great summer!”.

Regarding the rumoured smartwatch , according to the report Google might launch a Google Pixel smartwatch, at least three Pixel smartwatches this fall, each has its own specs and features but will run the same Qualcomm wearable dedicated smartchip. The smartwatch specs might include a built-in GPS, a heart rate monitor, as wellas LTE and WIFI.

The smartwatch is said to be launch alongside the new Pixel smartphones as well as Pixel earbuds. Hopefully the new revamp of smartwatchs running WearOS will give the OS a second shot for wearable OS and compete with the likes of Apple Watch and Gear smartwatches.
