Fitbit Versa is the name of the next Fitbit Smartwatch
Remember the leaked images of next Fitbit smartwatch? Well, seems like Fitbit has got a name for it already, the smartwatch that is dubbed as the smartwatch for the masses will be called “Fibit Versa” and it comes with a clear image of the smartwatch.
The smartwatch may not be a second generation smartwatch but instead it will be an affordable Fitbit wearable with its own section, intended for those who are budget conscious and would like to have the some of the sport and fitness features Fitbit Ionic smartwatch.
According to the report the wearable will be lacking a GPS feature, and other stuff that is present in Fitbit Ionic. Features that are expected with the Fitbit Versa are SpO2 sensor, a heart rate monitor of course, pedometer, multi-mode sport feature. Hopefully, the smartwatch will not just be a wearable that is intended for call and message notifications only, although it might lack GPS, an improve fitness and health will surely make the Versa an attractive one. Aside from the Fitbit Versa, there are rumours also that Fitbit will release a smartwatch intended for kids, children smartwatch that focuses on health, fitness and security.
Anyways, there are still no clear information on the specs of Fitbit Versa smartwatch or when will be the release date, so far for the price, it is expected that the smartwatch will cost around $150 – $200 U.S dollars retail. Will the Fitbit Versa smartwatch going to be drive the earnings of Fitbit for 2018? Or will it be a kryptonite for the aim of Fitbit’s domination for fitness and health wearable?
