DW98 Smartwatch – Big Screen Display Smartwatch
This rectangular smartwatch is one of the newest with a large screen display. It looks like the series 6 smartwatch but much better. It has a single physical button on the side, sporty design, widescreen body. We check on its design and specs and here is our initial review of the DW98 smartwatch.
Design
Weighing just 50 grams, the DW98 smartwatch measures 43 x 37 x 11 mm in size. It is a lightweight wearable with a medium-size body. It looks sporty, looks trendy and at the same time durable with its zinc alloy body. The body is available in different color options such as blue, black and pink. Unlike the series 5 models, the DW98 smartwatch has a clean, minimalist body, sporty, and with brush finish body. Overall, the body is Ipx7 waterproof rated, splash-proof, rainproof and dustproof as well.
Display
With its wide body, the wearable also comes with a widescreen display. It has a 1.8” inch IPS LCD screen compared to 1.7” inch in the newest series 6. With it the wearable has also an ultra-high screen resolution with its 340 x 400 high definition screen display. Sharp, crisp, widescreen with full touch screen supports. Ultra-slim bezel with bright, high screen resolution, and on top of that is a 2.5D tempered glass display.

To add more personalization to your smartwatch, the wearable has more than 20 watch faces built into it. There is also an option for custom watch faces.
Smart Notifications
Receive SMS notifications and read it directly on your smartwatch. Aside from SMS, you can also receive, social app messages, whether it’s from Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram and other popular social apps.
Regarding notifications, the smartwatch also supports “Bluetooth calls”. You can make calls, receive calls as well as store phone numbers on the smartwatch. It has a built-in mic and speaker for its Bluetooth call support.

For health features, the smartwatch is equipped with heart rate monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring. It also has a sleep monitoring function.

If you are a sports fan, the DW98 smartwatch is equipped with several sports mode. It has outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, indoor walking, riding, mountaineering. Additional sports included are swimming, table tennis, basketball, football, badminton, and yoga. The DW98 is also equipped with a personal trainer and pilates to help you get fit and lose weight.
Additional Functions
The smartwatch is equipped with weather, music player, sleep monitoring, remote control for camera, alarm, automatic activity tracking and multi-language support.
Hardware
The DW98 smartwatch runs the MT2502C processor with g-sensor, heart rate monitor, blood pressure and blood oxygen monitoring. It has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity that is compatible with Android 5.0 and above and iOS 9.0 and above platform. It uses the TI Band support app. The smartwatch has 240 mAh battery with several days of standby time and with a wireless charging feature.
