ZGPAX S83 3G Smartwatch Phone

Design  – the body is covered and protected by a silicon rubber, making it somewhat durable during bumps and fall. On the side, a very obvious two physical buttons, for home/power button and a back/return button. The watch has rugged sporty looks, I guess ZGPAX intended the S83 3G to be a sport/outdoor smartwatch than an everyday office casual device. It has a silicon watch strap, possibly proprietary as ZGPAX did not elaborate whether it is interchangeable or not.

Under the Hood – just like any other Chinese smartwatches, the ZGPAX S83 3G is powered by MediaTek processors, a 1.0GHz Quad Core MTK6580 processor providing fast and fluid interaction. It has a good internal storage capacity having 4 GB, and 512 MB RAM which is becoming pretty standard in today’s newest Chinese smartwatches. The smartwatch is categorized as a smartwatch phone as it is equipped with a nano SIM card supporting 3G  GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz WCDMA 850/2100. Sensors include in the watch are pedometer, GPS and Gyro Sensor. Well on the software side the watch provide notification messages, calculator, weather, clock, MP3,  including social sites such as Whatsapp and Wechat messages.

OverAll – the ZGPAX S83 3G cost under $100 dollars only making it ideal for those who are looking for a mid range smartwatch phone. It might lack some sensors, but its ok on the notification side as well as the memory capacity that it offers.
