Fitbit Flex 2

Design – I was surprised when Fitbit released the Flex 2 smartband, to be honest I am not a fan of this type of smartband, a smart band without any screen display just like the first Flex. Anyways there are some who would choose to have a smartband that is somewhat hidden from the crowd, a smartband that is more like a regular band.

The small tracker 31.7 x8.9 x 6.8 mm in size is embedded to the smartband and it is removable, the design make it sure that the tracker will stick with the band and won’t fall off, and of course this design and purpose do have a trade in, it will be hard for a user to change it to other band. But if you are contented with your strap band no need to worry in this area.  The Flex 2 smartband is waterproof, up to 50 meters, Fitbit even recommend the use of Fitbit Flex 2 in swimming, with even app stats record support for it in Fitbit app.

Under the Hood – under that small body, Fitbit was able to load it with a lot of features especially in fitness and health category,  the smart band is loaded with all day activity tracking, a smart track, auto sleep tracking, call & text notifications and a 5 day life with its Lithium-polymer battery. The smartband is also loaded with 3 axis accelerometer and a vibration motor.
