Connecting SZOS App in Android Smartphone, Problems, Troubleshooting Solutions
Here is one of the applications for affordable smartwatches, the SZOS app. The software is a support app for several popular cheap smartwatches in the market. This application is available for download in iOS and Android platform. A very light application providing information and settings for heart rate, sports monitoring, watch faces, music, remote camera, even map trajectory, and setup for personal data.
How to Connect SZOS App in Android Platform
- Download the application on Google Play, just search SZOS app. The developer is Alex XZ. And as of this writing the app version is 2.3.5.
- After installing, open the SZOS app
- A user agreement for the Privacy Policy will appear, “Agree” to proceed to the app dashboard
- You will proceed to the creation of SZOS account, no need to register, just tap on the button “Register Free Login”.
- It will ask for Permissions, just allow the app if you intended to receive notifications
- It will ask for access on devices location, you can choose “while using the app” or “only this time” or ‘Don’t Allow”.
- Allow Access to your Contacts?, tap to allow or don’t allow. Please take note, if you want to synchronize the phone number, you need to allow the app to access your contacts.
- It will also ask for access on photos, videos, music and audio. This is needed for remote control photos, custom watch faces, music control.
- After the necessary Permission, it will load the Dashboard. The SZOS dashboard includes “Health”, “Sport”, “Dial”, “Music”,”Devices” and “Profile”.
- To pair your device, tap on the “Devices Menu”, tap on the three dots on the upper right side of the app. Pick scan or add a device. If you chose scan, the app will ask for a permission, take pictures, and record videos. Another permission is the access to photos, videos, music and audio. You can scan the QR code, on the smartwatch to pair.
It will also ask for Bluetooth connectivity, and location permission
- If the smartwatch appears on the system, tap to pair with your device.

The App Keeps Disconnecting, it is Unstable!
Possible Solution:
- Check if there are other devices that is using the Bluetooth connectivity, if there are, remove it first.
- See the compatibility requirements of the application, try to check the version required for the smartwatch, and the app.
Cannot Find the Smartwatch when Pairing
Possible Solution:
- Check if the Bluetooth connectivity is turned on
- Put the smartwatch near the smartphone, and check if the app is added on the Bluetooth connectivity.
I can’t Receive Notifications on the Smartwatch
Possible Solution:
- See if the app is set to receive notifications, if not, enable permissions
- Enable Push notifications on the app, check if the SMS or app Notifications is toggled on
