boAt Watch Storm Smart watch – Specs, Features Revealed

boAt will be launching its next wearable at the end of this month. The smart watch is going to be called boAt Watch Storm.

The smart watch has a rectangular design with sporty silicon strap. Looks sporty, and light with a single physical button on the side. Although it is designed as sport and fitness smartwatch. The wearable has a feel of a classic/corporate look. So far, the promotional images shows the smart watch in just a single color and overall, the smartwatch is waterproof up to 50 meters.

According to the report, the boAt Watch Storm Smart watch will be unveiled to the public on October 29, 2020 at Flipkart.com, so far it is available in India only, with no details yet if the wearable will be available in other countries as well.

The smart watch has a 1.3” inch LCD screen display with a possible 240 x 240 pixel resolution. It has a 2.5D curved touch screen display. The wearable has a g-sensor, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, and with blood pressure sensor, as well as blood oxygen monitoring (SpO2). Early details on the smart watch state that the device has a 10-day battery life in just a single charge, and a good 30 days of standby time.

With its g-sensor, the boAt Watch Storm Smart watch has at least 9 sports modes including running, walking, cycling, swimming, hiking, climbing, workout, treadmill and yoga. Of course it is expected to have smart notifications, Bluetooth connectivity features such as camera control and music control feature. It also has at least 100 personalized watch faces to choose from. Additional functions that is expected are, alarm, timer, weather, sedentary alert, sleep monitoring.
