Huami might be gearing up for a new smartwatch, the Huami Amazfit Zepp E smartwatch. The wearable appeared in FCC filings this month. And if this will push through, this might be the next sporty smartwatch by Huami. And we might see this wearable in the next few months.

Some of the latest wearable by Huami in the market are Amazfit GTS, the Amazfit T-Rex, a sporty rugged type Amazfit Ares and the futuristic Amazfit X. With regards to the Zepp, if we remember it correctly, the company is known in making smart sport accessories and was acquired by Huami last 2018.

With the FCC filings, the document revealed some few information regarding the smartwatch. The submission shows some specifications and images of the wearable and might be called Zepp E smartwatch. On the images shows, the photos shows a circular smartwatch similar to Amazfit Pace and the unpopular Amazfit Nexo. According to the report, the smartwatch has an AMOLED touch screen display, it has a full circular screen. There is also a heart rate sensor on board and with it of course comes with the list of sports tracking.

Regarding the heart rate, we expect it to have an upgraded sensor as well as AI algorithm. With its sports design, there is a huge possibility on a built-in GPS which we hope is much better compared to GTS and Verge which on our experienced is slow and a way off.

The overall body is waterproof up to 50 meters and with built-in lithium ion battery with 188 mAh capacity. We are still not sure of the smartwatch will be release as a different brand or a partnership with other companies. Somewhat similar to Timex Metropolitan S smartwatch or will maybe the device will be included in the Amazfit line-up.

Stay tuned as we bring you the latest updates on the Zepp E smartwatch and other wearables by Huami Amazfit.
