Amazfit X Smartwatch -Genius or just Gimmick?
This futuristic wearable from Huami Amazfit is trending in Indiegogo. The curved smartwatch has surpassed its initial goal funding and now at 4733% of its initial $20,000 dollar goal with 24 days left to its campaign. As of this writing, the smartwatch is now at $900,000 + USD and expect it to go over a million when the campaign ended.
With the initial success of its campaign, the Amazfit X curved display is the biggest selling factor. Is the design and display just a gimmick or it serves a purpose that makes it superb, genius design?
According to its Indiegogo page, the extra wide curved display provide more information than a conventional display. That curved display allows you to read information without the need of scrolling. Aside from that intuitive display, the curved body makes it very comfortable to wear, the 92 degrees curvature sits and wraps on your wrist These features makes the wearable unique plus giving it a beautiful, elegant design that is far more advanced from other smartwatches.

2.07” inch AMOLED display, a high definition display with 366 PPI. Amazing bright display, sharp, vivid full color display. The smartwatch also integrates a smarter way of navigating the menus. It has a pressure sensitive sensor on the side, navigate and access the menus by pressing on the side with your finger. It also supports touch screen method of operation with its two point capacitive touch screen.
When it comes to features, it covers all the basics similar to other Amazfit wearables. It is able to monitor your heart rate 24/7 providing comprehensive stats of your cardiovascular.
