The popular smartwatch by Huami, the Amazfit Pace is back with version 2.0, yes a second version of the Amazfit Pace, the Amazfit Pace 2. The smartwatch based on the Ads, do have a waterproof feature, an IP67 or IP68 waterproof rating up to 50 meters, with this new upgrade expect that the smartwatch will have a swimming feature added to the sports mode of the smartwatch. Other hint provided by Huami with the Pace 2 is the addition of hiking feature, and diving mode.
With the design, seems like it is still the same with the first version, having a ceramic bezel (hand polished) and with two tone removable straps. It is not just sure whether the smartwatch will have the same size with the Pace or not, but we expect that it will have a much better resolution, the backlight is much brighter.
If there are some changes on the Amazfit Pace 2 it will not be that far from the design and specs of the Amazfit Pace first version, the first version of Pace has a 1.34 inch capacitive touch screen(transflective) with 320 x 300 pixel, uses Corning Gorilla glass and ceramic body. A 4 GB internal memory with 512 MB RAM, 280 mAh battery, variety of watch faces and more.
The smartwatch Amazfit Pace 2 will available on pre-order on different online shopping site on December 12, 2017, the price unlike the Amazfit Pace is much higher ranging from $150-$180 dollars depending on where you will buy the smartwatch. I guess, the first release will be in Chinese language and an international version is expected to follow.
