Amazfit BIP Max-Best Budget Smartwatch for HYROX?
One of the most popular racing competitions right now is HYROX, it is becoming a worldwide sensation when it comes to sports racing. We are fans of HYROX, as this activity is a test of cardio endurance, as well as strength.
The Amazfit BIP Max smartwatch is one of the few smartwatches in the market that is budget friendly with dedicated HYROX monitoring. We tested the HYROX functionality on the smartwatch and here are the HYROX features on the smartwatch. Below are the details
HYROX Race
According to Amazfit, the wearables HYROX Race is designed to track all eight functional workout stations and the 1km runs in between.
HYROX Simulation
It is a course simulation of the activity, options are HYROX full course, Half Course simulation, First Half, Second Half and there is also a custom simulation. You can dry run the simulation on the smartwatch with voice coach narrating every activity. Details on each activity are heart rate, the activity time calories and the total duration. You can skip the activity by pressing the second lower button on the smartwatch.
HYROX Training
This feature includes the Free training and option to select the types of training, whether its a Zepp training from support from the Training plans. Amazfit also included the Timer feature which includes the following time activities below.
TABATA – A short, intense workout method that alternates 20 seconds of exercise with 10 seconds of rest**, usually repeated for eight cycles.
AMRAP – Means “As Many Rounds/Reps As Possible”. You complete as many repetitions or exercise rounds as you can within a set time.
EMOM – Means “Every Minute on the Minute.” You start the assigned exercise at the beginning of each minute, with the remaining time used for rest before the next round.
