After a long absence of Amazfit fitness tracker in the market, the band 5 was the last one. Finally, Amazfit introduced the Amazfit Band 7. A fitness tracker that has a wide body as well as display. Design and Build Quality
The Amazfit Band 7 has a rectangular design, somewhat like a redesigned Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro. Much bigger body and screen, 112% bigger than the Smartband 7. Sporty fitness tracker and legit with its polycarbonate body, and a flexible silicon strap.
Its main body measures 42.3 x 24.36 x 12.2 mm and weighs 28 grams. Its frame is available in black, beige color with slim black bezel. For the strap, color options are green, blue, pink and orange color.
With its wide body, the Amazfit Band 7 look like a combination of a smartband design and smartwatch. Compact, solid frame with water resistance rating of 5 ATM. It can withstand up to 50 meters of depth, infact the fitness tracker supports pool swimming.
Display Screen
With its wide body frame, the smartband has a premium screen display. A 1.47” inch AMOLED screen with full touch support. Sharp, crisp, bright screen display with its 198 x 368 pixel resolution, with 282 PPI. On top of the screen is a tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating. Crystal clear display with less dust, and oil to blur the display.
Features of Amazfit Band 7
The fitness tracker is loaded with at least 120 sports mode. It got the basics such as walking, running, cycling, rowing machine, yoga etc. Categorized into several section, running and walking, swimming, outdoor workouts, indoor workouts, dance, combat sports, ball sports, water sports, leisure sports, board and card games, and more. With its Exersens, the wearable has an automatic smart recognition of walking, running, elliptical and rowing machine.
Plus the wearable supports PeakBeats, with workout status algorithm. Providing information on VO2 Ma, recovery, progress and more. The wearable provides comprehensive data on your workout, with full details on the support app.
With its sports tracking, it is just disappointing that with its comprehensive list of sports, the wearable does not have support for built-in GPS, it only supports connected GPS.
Health Functions
For its health features, the smartwatch has support for 24 hour monitoring of heart rate, as well as blood oxygen level. There is also support for stress levels. It’s an all-in-one tracking, monitoring your health metrics in just one tap. Providing you the results in just less than 1 minute.
There is also support for sleep monitoring function. With its Somnuscare, it tracks your sleep, the sleep stages, daytime naps. It records sleep stages, light sleep, deep sleep as well as REM sleep. Aside from sleep stages, it also monitors the sleep breathing quality.
An additional function is menstrual cycle tracking, a very useful function for women. Tracking your menstrual period provides predictions, menstrual and fertile periods.
To keep track of the status of your health during a workout. The fitness tracker has support for PAI Health Assessment System, providing overall health assessment during workout.
Amazon Alexa Built-in
The smartband has a built-in mic for its AI voice assistant. It has an Amazon Alexa Built-in. With the functionality, you can set alarm, execute commands such as Asking questions, and more.
10 Mini Apps
Aside from the above notable features are, the fitness tracker also includes 10 mini apps such as SOS drink water reminder.
Smart Notifications
The smartwatch supports call and message notifications, there is also a support for app notifications. You have the option to read messages and send quick replies.
