Design

After  the DT78, DT No.1 followed it with the No.1 DT79  smartwatch. Just like the DT78, this smartwatch has a professional look, beautiful zinc alloy body with  two physical buttons on the side. It has simple design bezel with second markings on the bezel. Available in black and stylish silver, the smartwatch has a durable, sporty silicon strap. But it is also available in classy, premium leather strap. The strap is interchangeable, its quick release pin is .22 mm compatible with most third party straps.

The smartwatch overall is IP67 waterproof rated, it is splash proof, rain proof and dust proof as well.

Display

There is also a good improvement on the screen display. The 1.3” inch IPS LCD screen is super retina display providing  sharp, crystal clear display. It has 360 x 360 pixel resolution with full touch screen resolution. The display is accompanied by a high definition watch faces, at least 10 preloaded watch faces to choose from.

Under the Hood

It is powered by MTK2502 + BMA425 dual chip, an advance chip with low power consumption. Sensors included are acceleration sensor, heart rate monitor, blood pressure monitor, blood oxygen monitor as well as ECG monitor. The wearable has Bluetooth 4.2 compatible with Android 5.1 and above and iOS 10.0 and above. It uses the Fundo support app.

Features

With its HR monitor, there is an option for 24 hour heart rate monitoring, its ECG monitoring can access  HR with PPG + HRV. Other health functions included are sleep monitoring providing intelligent sleep statistics, sedentary reminder, auto step counter with calorie and distance counter. It is also packed with multiple sports mode, running, cycling, weight lifting, fast walking, football.

Additional functions included are find device, remote camera, Bluetooth music, alarm, stop watch, calendar, call and message notifications.

Battery

The DT No.179 smartwatch has 560 mAh battery with standby time of about 20 days and with normal usage of about 4 days.
