Physical Looks – Another smartwatch by Tenfifteen is available in the market, the smartwatch “Tenfifteen QW09 3G” looks like the DZ09 model of watch, but much better. With a much slimmer design, a stainless steel/aluminum layer that sits on top of a polycarbonate material giving it a classy sturdy look. Looking at the watch you can obviously see right away the home button and the camera on the Tenfifteen smartwatch. The screen is capacitive type IPS LCD, the 1.54 inch 240 x240 resolution provides a vibrant color display.
Under the Hood– despite the affordable price, Tenfifteen made it possible for the QW09 to have good specs, with the MTK6572 1.2 Ghz processor and a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM which is a huge jump from the typical 32 MB to 1 GB of storage that we have seen from previous smartwatches. The smartwatch is categorized as a watch phone, meaning it features a SIM slot supporting GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 1900/2100MHz. It also has a built in camera, a 2.0 MP camera providing a decent images that can be store to your 4 GB storage space.
There are only two sensors available in the smartwatch, the gravity sensor and pedometer, yes it lack the heart rate monitor but its ok, you can’t get a decent watch type phone with colored screen and a camera for under 50 dollars right now, the Tenfifteen QW09 made it possible to bring an affordable watch phone in the market. Other app included in the smartwatch are message, calculator, Sound Recorder, Alarm.
OverAll – the watch features and specs are good considering the price that is under $50 U.S dollars, the SIM support is also a good addition making it a hit for those who are looking for smartwatch phone without spending too much. It runs Android 4.4 and according to Tenfifteen its only compatible with Android platform, hopefully an app support will be added for compatibility with iOS soon.
