Design and Build Quality

This luxurious smartwatch from Tag Heuer is from the family Connected series. Looking at the design, its look is not far from other E4 versions, Beautiful, sporty design and it shouts premium. Its material is an ultra-light grade 2 titanium, sandblasted DLL frame, gives the wearable a durable and at the same time a trendy sporty feel. A flat pusher button is located on its side, and in between is a crown button.

The X Caliber E4 is not just all about sporty Porsche design, it is also equipped with functionalities that is exclusive only to Porsche cars. According to Tag Heuer, the connected E4 Porsche edition can connect with a compatible Porsche car models.

In Terms of Hardware

Running the latest Wear OS by Google, the smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm SnapDragon Wear 4100+ processor, a 1.7 Ghz processor. With ARM Cortex A53, it’s fast, and optimized for the latest Wear OS by Google. With its latest processor, we can see a much better improvement, in the processing speed of the OS as well as the apps.

For its sensors, and connectivity, the smartwatch has health monitoring functions, a heart rate monitor, with sport for 24/7 monitoring. Sadly there is no support for SpO2 monitoring, we think its a must for its sports tracking.

For its motion sensors, and other outdoor/sport activities, the wearable has accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer as well as ambient light.

With regards to its connectivity, the smartwatch has Bluetooth 5.0, WIFI support, SAR 0.14. In terms of battery life, the smartwatch has a 440 mAh battery, with at least more than a day of battery life. According to Tag Heuer, it has 30% more battery life than previous models.

The wearable is more a collector’s item, geared towards Porsche fans. As you can see on the design, the wearable shouts premium, with its top-of-the-line frame material as well as technology. It is no different from other premium Wear OS smartwatches, except that is has some exclusive features like the “connect to Porsche car” function that is not available in other wearables.
