Redmi finally release a new version of the popular Xiaomi Redmi Watch, the Redmi Watch 2 smartwatch. The wearable has almost the same look as the Redmi Watch, except that the button on the Watch 2 is located on the center body. Still, a rectangular screen display, available in different color options. Looks sporty, as well as slimmer, and accompanied by an interchangeable strap.
It is a full waterproof smartwatch, making it waterproof up to 50 meters. As you can see, we only have minor changes on the design of the body but there is a huge improvement in the display of the smartwatch. Below are the details.
Display
The Redmi Watch 2 smartwatch has an improved screen display. Much wider with 63.7 percent screen to body ratio. It has a 1.06” inch AMOLED screen display. Full color, sharp, crisp bright AMOLED display with its 360 x 320 pixel resolution, with full touch support. Similar to Redmi Watch, the wearable has a 2.5D tempered glass that goes all the way to the edge of the body.
We don’t have the details for its chipset, but we have the sensors, it has accelerometer, heart rate monitoring, compass as well as SpO2 sensor. It also has multiple positioning, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILIO BDS. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, LE that is compatible with Android and iOS platform. It also supports NFC for its wireless payment. For the battery, the wearable has 230 mAh battery with several days of standby time.
