Nixon Mission Smartwatch

Design – the Nixon Mission smartwatch boast its wearable as the world’s first action sports smartwatch, based on the design we can really say it looks durable and rugged, I check on the specs and Nixon states that the watch is really is shock resistant, this is due to shock resistant polycarbonate case, if that is not enough the watch is covered by a surgical grade stainless steel raised bezel, Nixon termed it as a roll cage, its built for tough challenges, snow, surfing, and other outdoor activities. It is also 10 atm water resistance, with patent pending MicLock to fully make it waterproof underwater and still able to use it. The watch covered with layers of protection and a gorilla glass screen on the top, it looks sporty and large not for people with small wrist.

Under the Hood – the watch is powered by a Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 2100 processor, which make it  fast at the same time power saver, it has a bunch of sensors — GPS, thermometer, altimeter, barometer, e-compass, gyrometer, accelerometer, and humidity. On the software side, the watch is powered by Android Wear and preloaded with a bunch of app features such as Google Fit, Google Play, Google Maps, weather, flights via Google Now, and a remote shutter feature. Aside from preloaded apps the watch also features real-time surf and snow shred alerts right on the watch faces available for Nixon Mission smartwatch.
