Design – after the MGCool Band 3, here comes the MGCool Band 4, a much sleeker, much lighter smartband from MGCool. It has a 0.96” inch OLED screen with PC material for its casing and TPU band. The smartband looks simple and sporty that has a unisex look. It has a touch key operation and with multiple watch face design. Unlike previous MGCool Bands, that you need a power cable to charge the band, the MGCool Band 4 has a built in USB connector, similar to your typical USB drive. Just remove the body from its strap and plugin it in your USB port like a regular USB storage device.
Under the Hood – the MGCool Band 4, is powered by Nordic 51822, a low power chip processor used in most of affordable smartbands. It has a Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and features, heart rate monitor, pedometer, sedentary reminder, sleep monitor, it can also receive call and message notifications as well as notifications from social app such as Facebook, Kaokao Talk, Line, QQ, Twitter, Wechat, Weibo and WhatsApp. With its 90mAh battery the smartband has a standby time of about 20 days.
