Design – Garmin Fenix the most love rugged smartwatch from Garmin, yes it’s big, its chunky but it does the job. It’s rugged protected by metal body able to withstand a harsh outdoor activity. It has a smartwatch resistant glass, but if you want a much stronger one, you might opt to the sapphire crystal screen version.

The body has several navigation buttons, if you are looking for a touch screen watch sorry to say Garmin Fenix 3 is not in this category. Garmin do have a good reason for this, touch screen watches is not that responsive when the finger is dirty or the user does have thick protective gloves. It is color LCD, transflective MIP color with option for color of negative, it has a simple interface making it power saver, while providing enough details to the user.

Under the Hood – Fenix 3 is designed to be an outdoor enthusiast watch not for everyday casual or office attire, in the aesthetic side it might not win awards, but under that thick body, it’s a strong contender. It has GPS enabled, GLONASS, barometric, altimeter, electronic compass, accelerometer, HRM as well as other health and fitness features.
