Design

Here is a new smartwatch from Garmin that focuses on pilots, its the Garmin D2 Air Aviator smartwatch. It’s a beautiful smartwatch built for pilots. The smartwatch is durable having a fiber-reinforced polymer with polymer rear cover material With a stainless steel bezel making it durable. The smartwatch has two physical metal button on the side with specific functions. For the strap, you have an option to pick a leather strap or a silicone strap. Although it is an aviator smartwatch, the wearable is waterproof up to 50 meters, making it watertight, waterproof from splashes, rain, sweat and even dust proof.

Display

The Garmin D2 Air Aviator smartwatch has a 1.2″ inch AMOLED display screen, with optional always on display mode. It is bright,sharp having 390 x 390 pixel resolution. It is a full touch screen display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the Hood

Garmin elevate™ wrist heart rate monitor, Barometric altimeter, Compass, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Thermometer   yes (with a separately sold accessory), Pulse ox blood oxygen saturation monitor, it also has a GPS, GLONASS, Galileo. When it comes to memory, the smartwatch has 7 timed activities, 14 days of activity tracking data that it can store.

Battery

The smartwatch can last up to 5 days in normal usage, while GPS mode with music is up to 6 hours. GPS mode without music is up to 20 hours and GPS+SPO2 is up to 10 hours.
