Amazfit Verge Lite Youth Edition – Specs Review
Design
Well, the popular Amazfit Verge smartwatch got a new sibling, the Amazfit Verge Lite. This wearable as the name suggest is a lighter version of the Verge. The device has a similar design to that of the Amazfit Verge having a PC body and a TPU strap. The display screen is similar having 43 mm size (diameter). Based on the specs page, the wearable is a youth edition of the Verge.
There is a gray and white version color of the smartwatch. Leaked promotional images suggest that there are collectors edition based on the Avengers movie by Marvel, with watch faces for Marvel and a logo or sort of an Avengers marking on the strap. The smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating and its body is glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate.
The Amazfit Verge Lite (Youth Edition) smartwatch has a 1.3” inch display, an AMOLED full color display with 360 x 360 pixel resolution screen. It is sharp, with vivid colors, it’s a full color display with touch screen method of operation. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla 3 tempered glass with anti-finger print coating.

The smartwatch is packed with PPG heart rate sensor, 3 axis acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor and a GPS + GLONASS for precise map trajectory. It has Bluetooth 4.2 BLE and compatible with Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 and above.
It also comes with Alipay that works offline, its heart rate monitor has a high precision optical sensor and with professional algorithm. It supports all day detection, it also supports heart rate warning and with graphs on the smartwatch as well as the support app.

The wearable supports several sport activities like outdoor run, indoor run, walking, outdoor riding, indoor cycling, threadmill and other exercises. The outdoor sport is accompanied with GPS/GLONASS positioning function.

Just like the Verge, the Amazfit Verge Lite is preloaded with cool watch faces to personalize your smartwatch. It also supports Bluetooth music, control the music from your smartphone with this feature. It also has sedentary reminder, sleep monitoring with data and graphs on the support app, and an alarm feature.

The smartwatch has the same battery capacity of the Amazfit Verge, it has 390 mAh Lithium Polymer batterywith normal usage of about 20 days. And when the GPS is open and used, it has a 40 hours of battery life.
