Design

The next generation GTS smartwatch is here, simply called the Amazfit GTS 2 Smartwatch, a second generation of the popular Amazfit GTS. The smartwatch has an improved design, much better than the first version. This time the physical side button on the side is more protected from bumps.

The body is made of aluminum alloy and with a much sexier look having curved edges , it also has borderless design giving it a striking design. Just weighing 24.5 grams without the strap, the smartwatch is available in obsidian black, dolphin gray, and flowing gold. The smartwatch according to the company is much more scratch-resistant and wear-resistant, the wearable overall is waterproof up to 5 ATM.

Display

When it comes to the display, the wearable did not disappoint us with the AMOLED display screen. The smartwatch has an ultra-retina display with a 1.65″ inch screen with 348 x 442 pixel resolution. It has a full touch screen support and protected by a tempered 3D curved glass.

Under the Hood

The Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch is packed with sensors and functions, it has Huami self-study BioTracker.TM 2 PPG (Blood Oxygen Support) Biodiesel Sensor, Air pressure sensors, acceleration sensors, gyroscope sensors, geomagnetic sensors, ambient light sensors, built-in GPS + GLONASS.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.0, WIFI and NFC. It is also equipped with a speaker and microphone. It uses the Zepp support app available in iOS and Android.

Features

With the new and improve design and hardware, the smartwatch is equipped with premium and beautiful watch faces. There is also an option for modular watch faces, where you can set the important information that you want on your watch face.

The smartwatch heart rate monitoring is also advanced, having an all-day heart rate monitoring with an automatic screening of atrial fibrillation. Our favorite features PAI is also present, creating a personalized health assessment system on your health stats. Another health function is deep sleep monitoring, it can accurately determine the sleep phase, the light sleep, deep sleep, and the REM sleep.

It is also equipped with 12 sports mode, it has running, walking, cycling, treadmill, bike indoor, swimming, hiking, and more.

When it comes to communications, the smartwatch is equipped with call and message notifications, you can answer calls directly on your smartwatch with its built-in speaker and mic. With regards to the microphone, the smartwatch also support voice commands, it has an offline voice assistant feature.

There is also an improvement on the storage, the smartwatch can store up to 300 to 600 MP3 songs, listed to your favorite music via Bluetooth headphones. Additional functions included are alarm, weather, timer and more.

Battery

The Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch has 246 mAh battery with 7 days of normal usage and 20 days of standby time.
