The Redmi first smartband is here. Simply called Redmi Band. Weighing just 13 grams, the Redmi band has a rectangular design. Available in graphite black, orange red, slim green and space blue. The wearable has a sporty design yet simple. It has a USB type a connector that is covered by the strap. You need to remove the strap before you can charge. Regarding the strap, it is a soft silicon strap that is flexible as well as durable. Overall, the body is 50 meters waterproof, it is ok to wear it during swimming, shower or rain. It is a cool wearable that might compete with the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.
Display
The Redmi Band has a 1.08” inch TFT large screen display. It has a 128 x 220 pixel resolution with 16 bit color gamut. It is sharp, clear and bright. The smartband supports touch screen method of operation and it is protected by a 2D tempered glass display.
Under the Hood
It is equipped with 3 axis acceleration sensor, PPG heart rate sensor. The smartband has Bluetooth 5.0 compatible with Android 4.4 and iOS 10 and above. It uses the Mi Wear support app available in both platforms.

Aside from call and message notifications, it also supports social app notifications, call ID display, reject call support. It has multiple sport mode, it has outdoor running, free activities, cycling, indoor running and walking.

With its USB type A charging, the battery has 130 mAh capacity with standby time of 14 days and regular usage time of 10 days.
