Display

An ordinary LCD suffers greatly on direct sunlight. The C5 employs an E-ink display. It has 1.3” inch display with 240 x 240 pixel resolution and with touch screen support.

Under the Hood

The wearable runs the NRF52832 by Nordic and with 64 MB of RAM and ROM, it is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0. The smartwatch has a heart rate monitor, blood pressure  monitor as well as blood oxygen monitor.

The Makibes C5 smartwatch supports call and message notifications. It also supports social app notifications supporting Facebook, WeChat, Skype, Twitter, Line, WhatsApp, Instagram, SnapChat and more.

The smartwatch is packed with 230 mAh  battery with a good standby time of about 7-15 days and a normal usage time of 5-7 days. With a short charging time of only 1-2 hours.
