Just barely a month after the Amazfit Nexo, and Huami once again introduced another good looking smartwatch, the Amazfit GTR. The smartwatch has a much premium design as well as material available in high grade titanium, aluminium alloy and stainless steel. The Amazfit GTR 47 mm measures 47.2 x 47.2 x 10.75 mm and weighs 36 grams to 48 grams depending on the material.
The body has two physical buttons and has a much wider ceramic bezel. I must admit it has a beautiful look, a blend of sporty as well as classy design especially if it has the premium leather strap. The overall body of the smartwatch is waterproof up to 50 meters. No worries about it wearing the device outdoor, the smartwatch is fully protected from dust or splashes of water.
Display
The 47 mm version of the Amazfit GTR smartwatch has a wider display. Having a retina grade AMOLED version, a 1.39” inch HD AMOLED with 45 x 454 pixel resolution. It is a full round screen display with touch screen support. It is a full color high definition display providing sharp, vivid colors.
Under the Hood
We don’t have the details on the CPU and memory but just like the Amazfit smartwatches, the wearable is loaded with sensors such as BioTracker TM PPG Bio-Tracking Optical Sensor, 6-Axis Accelerometer, 3 Axial Geomagnetic Sensor Air , Pressure Sensor, Capacitive Sensor, Ambient Light Brightness Sensor. It also has GPS + GLONASS, NFC support and compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 BLE.

The smartwatch has an amazing battery life with its 410 mAh Lipo battery, the Amazfit GTR 47 mm version has 24 days of battery life in normal usage, 40 hours in GPS mode and with 47 days of stanby time.It is so far the smartwatch with the longest battery life in the Amazfit collection.
